So, no marks on the underside of the barrels or on the water table (the flat portion of the action the barrels sits on?
In your photo of the left side, there is SOMETHING written/engraved, but I can't make it out - looks like at least two words/names starting with an "A" and then an "N" - looks like New York for the second line
The A part also looks like it has "Co" after it, so A(name) Co, New York
The stock is thrashed with too many cracks to be shootable, even if the action was able
Without proof marks, I would guess it is US, not European

Can't tell if the barrels are Damascus/twist, but I suspect so from the little I could see - someone better qualified can help on that - I would GUESS 1880 something - plus or minus a decade or three
black powder and Damascus barrels pretty much stopped around the turn of the 1900's, as did hammer guns in a general sense
BOSS developed the single trigger in about 1905, fluid steel barrels were better and catching on, boxlock and sidelock action had been around for a decade or so - all leading me to my GUESS. Could it be even earlier? THAT is why I said a GUESS................
Hang it above the fireplace or similar - when the grandkids come over, you can make up any story you want to keep them enthralled - it's all good.....

possibly Remington. Get a Dixie gunworks catalog, there will be in the back a section showing the Remington hammers and what model it MIGHT be.
Check the top rail on barrels, might have Remington & Sons, Illion, N.Y. on it.
