Hi guys,
New to the FL but have read many posts/threads. I recently purchased an O/U shotgun from a friend. He didnt know who the mfg was or anything. Basically its a 12ga, approx 28" barrels that appear to be full and modified choke. It has a solid raised rib with 2 gold beads. The receiver has minimal engraving with USSR written on it. Double triggers, and top mounted safety. When broken down, I can see 1966 on the monobloc. The pistol grip cap and the buttplate appear to be a horn or reddish brown plastic. Sling stud bosses are mounted in the butt and sweated on the lower barrel............Any thoughts or guess???........Baikal??.........value if any???
much appreciate the assistance!!
take care,
Scott

A photo would help, However from your description it sounds like the Bailkal: I have one and the description sound reasonable. As far as value, I don't have anything current. An old Gun traders guide says around $250.00 $350.00. I like mine, doesn't do well with Clays, but does very nicely with skeet. That could be shooter response. LOL

I do have a few others but am thinking these might pin the mfg. down........Thx in advance!!:)
