Ideal weight for a bullseye pistol

Hi, all,

While dry-firing this morning, it occurred to me that too heavy a gun might cause your muscles to tire and shake, while too light a gun would cause other controllability problems with fatigue from recoil. So there should be a range of weights where you get the best accuracy in sustained firing.

Is this true for you? If so, what's your ideal weight band?

Thanx,

I am not a bullseye shooter and do not train and excersise for it. Just shoot one-handed at a round target occasionally as an exercise in humility.
So I max out at the 40 oz level and would be happier at 38. The 44 oz guns like my M41 are tiring to me. But I bet a practiced bullseye shooter will like the heavy guns.
