Sorry didn't really know where to post this. Found a screw in front of the gun safe and can't think of anything it would have been from. Any help is appreciated thanks

or

If its big enough, could be an action/stock bolt too. Some of my Savage rifles use a hex bolt to anchor action to stock.

I've checked all of the scopes and optics on the guns I've taken out lately and can't find anything. I just put on a magpul moe sl stock yesterday but still don't know

The OP photo shows how small the screw is. It IS a Leupold scope ring screw. I just confirmed that by looking at a few rifles in my safe that have Leupold scopes with Leupold rings that have one screw on each side of each ring.

Don't have a leupold scope

Do you have a Beretta 87 Target? That looks very much like...>

...one of the two screws that secure the underbarrel counterweight.

However, I expect you'd be aware of that if you did have such a pistol :-)

VX
Don't have a leupold scope

Leupold scope rings don't come with Leupold scopes. You can buy Leupold scope rings without having a Leupold scope. I don't know if you have ever had any Leupold scope rings, but I do know that the appearance of the screw in your photograph matches the screws in my Leupold scope rings. Obviously, I cannot determine the exact diameter of the screw in your photo so I cannot confirm it is, in fact, a Leupold scope ring screw despite my earlier post. Sorry!

My Leupold scopes and rings are not obsolete. The scopes are Vari-X III 2.5-8 with the matte finish and Duplex reticle, and seem to be identical to the current VX-3 2.5-8 scopes. The screws in the rings are hex head. I know Leupold now uses Torx head screws - the rings in my last pair of Leupold rings (several years old) are Torx . I don't when Leupold changed its ring screws from hex to Torx.

It's good but I don't have any of their rings either lol

I don't know if Leupold makes their own scope ring screws or their scope rings. The screw could be another brand. I have assumed you confirmed that none of your scoped firearms are missing a screw. I am out of ideas and I won't speculate how the screw got to the floor in front of your safe. I am, however, curious and will keep reading this thread. Good luck. :)
