I am looking at a repro Model 1892 carbine or rifle available for sale by an outfit called IAR Importing & Distributing in San Juan Capistrano, CA. While looking at the company name, I vaguely recalled someone posting about a problem that they had with some outfit that offered blank firing guns and reproductions. Unfortunately, I cannot recall what company that was.

I get nervous with anything but face to face purchases like this. Appreciate any info or guidance.
