I'm completely confused. Was there a question in there or was that supposed to be a statement? Were you making fun of people that buy ammo right now, or doing satire on what people are saying about other people buying now?

This. I was pretty confused as well. I'm still buying ammo, but I have a shop that would rather supply locals with decently priced ammo than make a buck, so I'm buying 5.56 at 8$ per box of 20 which is about what I was spending on ammo 2 years ago.
