Last Sunday my better half and I were killing some time by driving around in my old district. We were going down a street when a Sheriff pulled in behind us from a side road. After a few minutes & about 2 miles he hit the overheads and we pulled over. I watched him as he walked up, he stopped for a second at the rear of our truck to look at something (I thought mabey my tag).
He came came up to my window and asked "Who shot your truck?"
I said "I did."
With a sudden puzzeled look he said "Ahhh....O...K"
I said "One day I was really bored & it's a really old truck."
He said he saw the holes(2) and just wanted to make sure everything was OK. He never asked to see a license and was totally cool. In fact when we told him what we used he kind of laughed.
I work in a place with lots of cool "stuff" and one day I built a compressed air gun. I started blasting 1 inch 1/4x20 bolts thru 2x4's and drew a small crowd of co-workers. After blowing up soda cans and bricks with it we started to look for more "interesting" things to shoot, alas my poor old truck became the target. After putting a bolt thru the tailgate I pulled a round from the clip of my USP 45, removed the bullet from the case. Loaded the bullet into the barrel(1/2" pvc) of my air gun and sent the round on it's way...Presto! One bullet hole.
I dont know whats more interesting the fact that I got pulled over or my "gadget".
(PS If there's any interest I try & get some pictures up.)
