Congratulations on your recovery, Gary. I like to ask liberals how much MORE taxes they pay than are required, and feign surprise when I wheedle out the information that they, too, take every tax deduction and use every "loophole" they can.
It's also fun to tell them that I'm a "classical liberal". It's the old version of, "libertarian."

Should have added that the change was right after I left high school and got a job to pay for college.
Liberals are those who are generous with others' resources.
Certainly I'm still liberal about certain issues: death penalty (yes), CCW (yes, let's recognize the right to bear arms), tort reform (badly needed to correct an abused and stifling judicial system) and on other things very conservative (hard on crime & criminals, bums & druggies git outa my town, beef and milk shakes are good & to hell with tofu & veggie burgers, 4x4 trucks yes, personal responsibility for one's action & not whimpy I'm a victim syndrome).
