Um, his Kahr that is. Just saw shaft and Kahrs have finally hit the big time. His stainless K-9 gets a ruthless workout. I want one like him with the 40 round clip. Actually, kidding aside, it did actually make me want to get one.

NYPD authorized them last year, IIRC. So now, the baddest Muthas around has got one of the baddest Roscoes. A 40rd mag WOULD be nice too! :)

You guys are just not on the cutting edge. The new mags contain a small transporter device which feeds a preset amount of ammo from a designated location by bending the space/time continuum. Completely computerized you only have to load and set the magfeeder(up to 100rds) before you leave home. It's called a New York Mag.

Hmmm...for all of its faults (1911 with a slide back going "click, click" or people thrown back with a single pistol bullet), Shaft was watchable. I was dragged to watch it, kicking and screaming, and found that I didn't much mind it. It required a major suspension of disbelief but had enough humor and good sound effects to keep me amused.

My favorite part of the movie was when Shaft sets up the crooked cops by posting a dummy outside the girl's house. Then when Peoples sends a thug over there and the dummy shoves the stainless Eagle in his face.
"What!?"

George... No kidding man!!!

My room-mate just downloaded "Road trip" and Gladiator. Unfortunately the sound for Gladiator was unbearable, so I finished scanning TFL instead.

"Road Trip" came in two downloads... to keep the file size down I guess. It ran flawlessly though. Very funny movie... seen it TWICE now.

I'm dreaming about all the copying.. I mean "back-ups" I can make once I get my CD-RW.

:)

"Gun Control Is Being Able To Hit Your Target"

They should have called the movie "Double Tap". Those bad guys must have been shooting blanks. The movie was better than I expected. Of course, expectations were rather low. My girlfriend uses a Kahr K9 nickel, so she wanted to see what the gun could do. Should I break the bad news?

Oleg, thats funny- I saw it this past weekend, went with like 5 people, nobody wanted to hit the bar scene that night- my buddy was so pissed (started to turn red, like a Tomato) that we wanted to see Shaft, that we literally had to throw him in the car to go. But it turned out to be very humorous, if nothing else- so it worked out.

How does it compare to the original Shaft? I heard Samual L.Jackson's Shaft couldn't even compare to Richard Roundtree.

Anyone old enough to remember Shaft will remember that he was a ladies man, Why is the new shaft so politically correct?

Why is he only trying to be another Cop against bad guy type.

Shaft was more than that.

Anyhow, I enjoyed the movie. How about the old lady with the Mousegun?
