Just remember its in New Zealand, so with the exchange rate its about 1900USD.

It seems good to me, what do you think?

Not a good price at all!!!

Here is my 10FCP that I got from Cabelas. It has the Choate Tactical stock, which, in my opinion is just as good as the McMillan but for less money.
With everything you see on it my total, with tax, was a little over $1,100.

There is some thing about that I don't like. Does the person have paper work saying it "Law Enforcement" rifle. Cause any body can buy a gun with bi-pod and scope and call it a "Law Enforcement" rifle just to jack price up. And calling it a sniper rifle is a joke. A gun is only as good as the shooter.

Burris tactical scope 4.5-14 x 50mm They don't make one in 50mm only in 42mm so that would make me even more nervous on buying that gun.

Savage Arms 10FP Law Enforcement Series Rifle $589
Scope new cost $499
Harris Bi-pod $75-$100

Total $1188 max price

Remember you aren't in New Zealand so it is hard to say if it is a good deal or not. Usually in forgien countries you pay a lot more for the same rifle that you or I can buy here in the good old United States. I wouldn't hazzard a guess on the potential of a "good deal" until I could compare all the prices for a new rifle in New Zealand.

What if you consider that over here a Remington 700sps cost 800USD and a stand savage weather warrior 1150USD?

The savage has a mcmillan.. Its a no brainer to spend the extra $$$$... And the savage will have a better trigger... Keep in mind this is coming from someone with a tricked out R700 .308..
