I sprayed krylon 1311 matte finish ion my decoys to preserve the finish. The drakes are fine but some of the hens, especially the breasts, are REALLY white...it looks like frost. I dont think I sprayed that much...can I get it off with some light wool so they are brown again?

P.S. They look worse in real life

Try putting them in direct sunlight... A bit of further curing may clear them up. If that don't work a super fine polish may help. Generally I fing the haze is related to high humidity/too cool on application.
Best o' luck to ya'

Question... I ain't a duck buster but have wondered if iridescent type pearl clear applied to the drakes in key areas may make them more life like? The drakes always seemed pretty shiny to me in summer light.

I dont know...all I know is ALL 6 of my drakes are perfect. However, the hens took the white like crazy. its super noticeable. Byt he way....I sprayed this matte finish to RID them of sheen. They still have a little, but not a lot.
