in my centerfire autoloading handgun collection. All of my medium and full sized pistols are chambered in .45 ACP. All of my compacts and sub compacts are chambered in 9mm. I feel the .45 is best suited for full sized pistols, and the 9mm is a good choice in "carry" pistols.
