I watched the TV for six hours straight last night waiting to find out the outcome. Only to get stuck on a election rollercoaster ride that never ends. At 12a I gave up, and went to bed convinced that Bore would get it. 6am comes and I wake up, turn the radio on, only to hear that we STILL don't know. ARGH!!! I heard on the news that the phone conversation between Bore and George was pretty heated. Apparently Bore called Bush after the announcement that Bush won to congradulate him. Then within minutes called back to take his earlier comments back. George says "So, let me see if I understand this, you are calling to take back your comments on losing?" Then Bore says "..you are not the authority figure on this..". And the conversation ended abruptly. So, I really believe there are some shady things going on. Infact I am convinced of it. If Bore wins, I for one will never forgive Florida, and will never go into that state. I will have a very dark opinion about the election process, and for the first time in my life feel antigovernment feelings. This whole thing has really disturbed me. I was, and still is mostly, a nervous wreck. I am outraged by the way this election has gone for the most part.
I will be keeping my fingers, toes, hairs, etc crossed until the outcome is given. If you are a praying person PRAY like you have never prayed in your life. WE NEED A MIRACLE

Let me restate a little to my statement regarding FL. If Bore wins FL, I will only hate the people that voted for Bore. Certainly not the people who voted for Bush.
God bless the people who voted for Bush.
 
11:15 went to bed, pretty optimistic. FLA was still up for grabs.

4:30am woke up, checked the news, grabbed the Mylanta (for real)

The country will survive. Why, because there are still enough people in the country who understand what price and responsibilites come with freedom.

I would rather die a patriots death than live 100 years as a sheep. Guess it helped that I didn't watch the polls all night. Watched the "Patriot" instead.

Anyhoo, there isn't much else to be said that hasn't been said in umpteen other threads, so I'm going to shut this one down.
