I apologize, this isn't strictly firearms related, but it does apply to a veteran so I hope the admins will not mind.
I need help from you guys, I need to find a unit patch.
My Grandfather was with the 698th field artillery in WW2, and last year my dad gave him a framed display of all his patches, medals, and awards but was unable to find the unit patch. I have searched all over the place, but have not been able to come up with what it even looks like. I'm out of options to go it alone so I have decided to start asking on various forums.
Are there any WW2 vets active on this board? Or anyone who has done this research? Could you perhaps direct me to somewhere I might look or a place that sells these? I really want to be able to complete that display as a Christmas present for my Grandfather since he's developed Alzheimer's and I'm not really sure how much longer I will have Christmases with him.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate any possible help I can get with this.

*edit* I'm sorry, he was with the 698th, not the 668th. It was later changed to the 79th Field Artillery, they kept the crest the same but with a few changes designated new command structure. The old crest has a gold cross inside a green circle in the lower left corner, with the red stripe diagonal, and the gold 13 start in the upper right corner.
