I need help to Identifiy a S&W Revolver

I have recently acquired a S&W revolver that belong to a now deceased relative. I have tried to ID the weapon and have had no luck. It is a hamerless 38 S&W, the barrel length is 1.75", grip safety like a colt 1911, 5 shot, mother of pearl grips and the barrel and cylinder brake down by releasing the rear sight. Moving the barrel forward engages the shell extractor. The serial # is 210xxx. It has the S7W logo on the right side but does not have "Smith and Wesson" stamped anywhere on the weapon. Thanks for any info.
P.S. Is this weapon worth anything, as far as collectability goes?

Looks like the 38 S&W they nicknamed "lemon squeezer". Could be of some value depending on the shape and the mother of pearl grips. Hopefully someone on the forum can give you more info. Nice gun and welcome.

Your .38 Safety Hammerless Fourth Model was probably made in 1906 or 1907 and appears to have had its barrel shortened, which would hurt its collector's value. In the condition it's in, it'd be a hundred to hundred-and-a-half gun, depending on how badly someone wanted it. If you wanted to gamble a few bucks, you could send for a factory letter and find out if it was special-ordered with the stubby barrel. (Smith was like Burger King back then; you could pretty much have it your way...)
