I need GOOD 3/8'' scope rings

So i have a Bushnell 3200 scope for my k31. I went to the gun shop and the owner absolutely could not believe that I have 3/8'' mounts for a high powered rifle and he had never heard of it and it didnt exist and yatta yatta yatta.... Anyways, It does exist and thats what I need. He said the best mounts he had were some simmons mounts and that was as good as it gets for 3/8'' mounts. They cost a whopping $8.

I got what I paid for, they are not solid and the scope slides forward when I shoot it. It slides where it clamps to the dove tail. I tried to tighten it down more and broke the cheap screw that clamps to the dove tail.

Whats a good quality 3/8'' 1'' mount that I can rely on and not have it break or slide forward? I need solid rings.

I just bought a K31. I am going to be using the same mount. I am going to be using Warne 7.3 rings. These are considered center fire rings (most 3/8" rings are in the air rifle/.22 rings section). I have heard nothing but good things about their performance. Another good choice would be the Millet Angle-lok steel 3/8 rings.

You can buy the Warne rings from Brownells -- you can see in the pictures how much beefier they are than standard rimfire 3/8 rings.

+1 on the Warne rings.

To clarify, you are looking for rings for a 1" scope that will mount on to a 3/8" dovetail, right? If so there are a number of options from the .22 world. I have a set of Burris that I used for years that were made very well. You may not realize this but the airgun bases can can be very strong. The recoil on a springer air gun is really hard on scopes, bases and rings, so many of them have very good clamping. You can find the airgun stuff from places like Pyramid air and the better .22 types from Midway, Brownells, Optics Planet, ....
