I need a new bolt!!!!!

Has anybody ever made a bolt and breech for a .22. I have an old savage arms .22 rifle re-bored to a .22 magnum. I need a new bolt because this one can't eject the magnum shells very good. Has anybody ever tried to make a new bolt and breech? If you have do you have any blue prints or advice for me?
 
Yeah, the advice is...take it to a smith and get him to fix the extractor/ejector. Chances of needing a new bolt are slim.
 
how about if i need a tool bar for a scope? PC310057.jpg this is the top view of the bolt. I want to put a scope on how should i go about it?
 
Putting a scope on that will likely be a custom proposition, as it would need to be mounted on the side of the receiver.
 
That gun was made for .22 LR and the barrel is quite soft. Firing a few boxes of .22 Magnum should take care of the rifling and solve your other problems automatically.

Amen to that. For starters, the bore, if done to specs, is undersized for a .22 Magnum bullet. This is going to raise breech pressures. That bolt really doesn't look strong enough to withstand the pressures generated by a .22 Magnum, and my guess, in addition to wearing out the bore REAL FAST, is that you are going to get excess headspace in a hurry, too.

This is not a well thought out project; You would be better off going to Walmart and buying a .22 Magnum rifle, if that's what you want.
 
I bought the gun form a friend who already had rebored it. What are your suggestions on how to fix this problem?
 
See my previous. It's not grooved like a lot .22's are, and the receiver is split down the middle, so a typical center fire mount with the correct radius won't work. It would be cheaper and easier to get a different rifle.
 
The gun was not rebored but rather rechambered by someone that did not know what they were doing.
Any competent gunsmith would never do a rechamber on a 22RF(.223 dia) rifle.
As said before the 22RF bore is too small for the 22MAG(.224 dia) bullet and the steel is too soft.

The magnum pressures are high enough to cause the bolt to fail. Not to good walking around with a rifle bolt sticking out of your eye.:(
