I need a list of 22 WMRF Pistols & revolvers.

I am looking for as complete a list as possible for guns that are in production and/or easy to actually find and buy [ie not limited runs of 500] chambered in .22 WMRF [Winchester magnum Rimfire].

I know Ruger has the Single Six, I believe Taurus has a DA revolver, and AMT has an auto I think. And TC Contenders and Encores.

Also any idea how difficult & expensive it is to get something like Ruger's SP 101 in 22 RF rechambered to the 22 WMRF?

Ideally I am looking for a gun similar to S&W's lt wt kit guns [4" barrel, adjust sights, under 30 oz]. Though I don't want to buy from Smith & Wesson.

I am planning on carrying it as a companion to a DA 44 mag or Ruger Bisley in 45 LC in the field for general plinking and targets not worth using big bore on.

Other suggestions are welcome, though I have ruled out 22 rf. I am also strongly considering using Glock 34 with 90 grain bullets.

Colt made their Trooper in .22 WMRF. I almost picked one up last year NIB. Guy wanted $300 for it. Like an idiot I didn't get it.

Grendel P-30 - .22mag automatic
NAA Mini REvolver - .22short, L, LR, or magnum

EAA makes several SA revolvers in this caliber.

Rossi made a nice little stainless steel four inch double action revolver up until about a year ago. The gun is sort of a copy of the S&W model 63 except with a partial barrel underlug, a heavy solid rib atop the barrel, and a square butt style grip. I have one chambered for .22LR and it is a very nice little gun. I paid $200 for it brand new a couple of years ago. It weighs right at 2 pounds and has a better feel than the light weight Taurus revolvers and even feels better (to me) than the model 63. I still see these around at a lot of the gun shops in .22LR and .22WMR for $200-$225. They come with two sets of grips, one wood and one rubber combat style. Mine has been utterly reliable and is pretty accurate for what I consider to be a plinker. It has an adjustable rear sight and holds six rounds. The .22 magnum version is identical to it except for the cartridge. It may be something worth looking into as it seems to be an excellent value. The model 515 is the WMR version while the LR version is the model 518.

This is the gun that I carry with me as my sidearm when I'm small game hunting with a rifle.

Good luck.
