I need a bolt.

I have a rifle that was given to me as repayment for a debt. But, the rifle does not have a bolt. (It's a long story, and I won't bore you with it) anyways, could someone direct me to some place that I can get a bolt for this gun. I believe it is a German, 8mm Mauser, the markings on the left side of the barrel say M24/47 3 ABO44 after the ABO there is a Square symbol.

I guess I could post a picture of it, if it would help.

O yea it is a Yugoslavian Mauser based on the German k98 pretty much exactly the same the just built in a different country.

Dont forget the Yugo mausers have an intermediate length action so a standard length 98 bolt wont work.

I am not sure,but I think the bolt has to match the reciever for correct head spacing. Message Wyosmith regarding your question,he is a gunsmith who knows Mausers.

From the sounds of these posts, apparently I am mistaken, it is not a German Mauser that I was given, but instead a Yugoslavian Mauser is that correct? I understand it's kind of hard to figure out what I have since I don't have a picture of it up, but I will put a picture up if there is any more doubt.

From the your description of the markings on the rifle its definitely a Yugo m24/47. Not German but based off the 98 action and originally chambered for 8x57mm.
