I modified my MTM rimfire ammo case to be Hi-Cap,,,

This is what the case originally looked like,,,

I took some plastic inserts I had laying around,,,
I had to cut one row off of two of them,,,
But they fit the case perfectly now.

It holds 280 rounds of .22 LR now,,,
I keep it full of bulk ammo for my revolvers and bolt rifles.

Nothing earth shaking here,,,
Just a simple project while watching a video.

I've not used ammo boxes for rimfires. What advantage are you seeing over the boxes they come in?
With reloadable centerfire I get it.

What advantage are you seeing over the boxes they come in?

In reality not much,,,
For match ammo it keeps the bullets from being beat up.

I simply like the neat and order of an ammo case,,,
Mainly though it helps me keep track of how much I shoot.

In the good old days I didn't worry too much about it,,,
But with modern high prices and scarcity,,,
I like to keep close track of it.
