I practiced some more today and I am extremely satisfied with these groups, especially the 3 nearest the bullseye. Yes, they were front bagged shots and it was at 30 yards and that that's the easiest way, but I think I'm ready to move to 50/75 yards now. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped me improve over the last few months. I couldn't have done it without ya! It's hard to believe I was shooting it so badly earlier. Anyway, I'd like to hear your opinions, thanks alot! :D

You're on your way for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing some groups fired @ fifty yards. Good shooting-shows you are paying attention to sight alignment and trigger squeeze. Good groups don't just happen randomly; it always takes some marksmanship skills on the part of the shooter to get neighborly bullet holes. :)

Once you get a 4 inch group at 100 off a bench, start working on shooting from field positions- prone, sitting, and hardest of all, standing.

I like to use water filled milk jugs for immediate feedback ..... I love the "Whop!" sound they make when hit with a major caliber centerfire soft or hollow point bullet......

plus with a mosin, you can put the bayonet on and pick up the targets with it......:D
