But alas...so far only revolvers. In 49 years of buying pistols I have never owned a shiny bottom feeder. I think when the mortgage is paid off and my self imposed gun buying embargo is lifted I may celebrate by bagging a nickel M39 or a 1911.

I really like your Colt Police Positive! It's a real beauty!

I only have one shiny one:

It's got a jeweled hammer! I love it.

My only shiny revolver is a shiny BLUED Python:

I only have two nickle plated guns,,,

This 4" model 34 was my best friends handgun,,,
She picked out for her 11th birthday present.

Her dad said she could choose any .22 she wanted,,,
I once complimented her good taste in handguns,,,
And asked why she chose that particular gun.

Her reply was,,,
"It was shiny."

I recently bought this 3" model 36 to pair with the 34,,,
I do have a passion for owning matching rimfire/centerfire pairs.

I have several soulle,,, err,,, stainless steel handguns,,,
But these are my only truly shiny handguns.

I named them Elle and Dakota after the Fanning sisters,,,
Who are very pretty and very blonde.

<<<<Jealous!

I have stainless and blued S&W's... I have a glaring gap in my modest little clutch..... Love for my first nickel Smith to be a 4" m57

Cabelas has a nice used 7in Vaquero, a newer one in Stainless.
I swore it was nickel, and the Dept Mgr thought it was, too, so he looked up the serial number. It was stainless. It did not have all that horrible manual on the barrel either. A far improvement on my earlier Vaquero.
A Colt Lawman .357 snub nose, my Uncle carried last two tours in Nam, a Marine, he thought was stainless.
When he gave it to meit had all kinds of odd corrosion all over it.
Several weeks or months of evenings, completely disassembled I polished every piece with Semichrome and Flitz.
It is stainless and flawless now, save the grips ,with his sweat, and the dirt, of Nam still in the checkering.
Very pretty gun.
I like shiny too.
