I like my J frame now.

Ahhh! I am happy. I am one of those who grumbles about S&W J frames and their fit in my hand. I found a comfortable grip today. I had seen the Pachmayr round butt to square butt wood/rubber conversion grips. I had never tried them. I picked up some on sale today. I put them on my round butt, flat latch and 3" J frame. They are a little complicated to install! When I had them secured I was impressed. I cannot complain of pinching or my pinky hanging in the air anymore. My shooting was pleasant and +P rounds were absorbed with aplomb. I went back and bought a set for all my J frames. I really do like my J frames MUCH better now. Anybody else had these results?

On my J square butts I use a Tyler T, on my rond butt guns I like them just as they came out of the box. To each his own.
