I just voted for George W. Bush

Voted straight Libertarian at the state level for any office where the Libs fielded a candidate though.

Let's all do what we can to mobilize our fellow gun owners to get out and vote for their 2nd Amendment rights!

States like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Arkansas and especially FLORIDA are going to be critical in this election.

These are all states where a single vote could mean the difference between Al "The Second Amendment does not guarantee an individual right to bear arms" Gore and one of the most pro-Second Republican candidates to run for office in some time.

Roberts,

Way to go! Go G. W. Bush!!!

STREISAND BLASTS BUSH; DECLARES FUTURE OF NATION HANGS IN BALANCE

SingerDirectorProducerMotherWifeCitizen Barbra Streisand turns political in an interview set to air just days before the US presidential election.

The session, taped with ABC's Barbra Walters, is in its finial editing stages and will be unleashed on Friday's 20/20 broadcast.

In the interview, according to sources, Streisand defends Bill and Hillary Clinton, blasts Republicans who impeached the president, and warns the nation that George W. Bush, if elected, would "reverse" progress made by women in the 20th Century.

"There is so much at stake!" Streisand declares on ABC.

It is not clear if ABCNEWS will offer the Bush campaign on-air time to respond to Streisand.

MORE

In recent weeks Streisand explained to her fans why they should vote for Gore:

"The first three reasons to vote for Al Gore are: The Supreme Court… The Supreme Court… The Supreme Court! Our whole way of life is at stake when you consider that the next President will make three or even four appointments during his term.

"I find it hard to believe that some people say there's no difference between the two parties in this election. I worry that people might not vote in their own self interest because they're fooled by empty words and false promises.

"I shudder when I think of how a more conservative court could put at risk all the things we hold dear: our civil rights, women's rights, disability rights, privacy rights, consumer rights, workers' rights and reproductive rights. I, for one, don't want to return to the days before Roe vs Wade, when women had no control over their own bodies!

"Let's face it, this is a war against bigotry, against discrimination of any kind, racial, religious or sexual orientation. We need justices who will insure our rights and not turn the clock back on decades of social progress.

"Another big reason to vote for Al Gore. There is no one stronger on the environment. I'm so fortunate to wake up every morning and look out over the Pacific Ocean. It looks so beautiful. And yet, it's frightening to think that so many beaches are closed due to contaminated water. Our coastal waters, our drinking water, the soil in which we grow our food, the very air we breathe - must be protected.

"Al Gore warned us about this years ago in his book where he talked about preserving our planet and keeping the earth in balance.

"He knows that we're being faced with what could be the greatest challenge of the 21st century: Global Warming - which many republican leaders dismiss as a myth…ignoring the overwhelming scientific evidence that there's a hole in the ozone layer…the ice caps are melting, the summers are getting hotter, winters more severe, then there's the rains, the floods, the fires, the hurricanes, the tornadoes, the bugs, the viruses…some myth.

"Our children and their children must not inherit the consequences of environmental neglect. We've made real progress in the last eight years, but not enough.

"Something else: Al Gore must be in the White House to protect us from the chemical industry polluters and the oil interests, whose profits have enriched Bush and Cheney at the expense of the American people.

"Look at what they've given Texas. It's true, the great state of Texas under the leadership of George W. Bush has ranked first in many things: it's first in toxic air pollution, first in water pollution, first in total residents without health insurance…first in number of gun shows…first in executions - he also took the largest surplus in Texas history and turned it into a budget shortfall by giving a massive tax cut to the wealthy at the expense of the most vulnerable.

"This is what George W. Bush did for Texas as Governor. Just think what he could do for America as President.

"We know what Bill Clinton and Al Gore did for America. They gave us the greatest expansion of economic prosperity in our lifetime. And while I'm not a gambler, this much I know….you don't change the dice when you're on a roll."

Pop Diva CHER Cracks up on air

Politics/Elections Front Page News Keywords: CHER, DEMOCRAT IMPLOSION,GORE

Today at 9:00 am PST while listening to the legendary Talk Radio Lib Michael Jackson on Newstalk 1110, I chanced to hear the following conversation. Jackson received a surprise and impromptu call from the legendary Pop Diva Cher.
Talking in a high, squeaky, quite agitated but still easily recognizable voice, Cher was obviously hysterical, audibly upset and was on the verge of breaking in to tears for most of the conversation. Cher confessed up front to Jackson that she has "been going without sleep and the thought of Bush winning the election makes my skin literally crawl." Cher went on to state, that she was "making plans on moving from this country if Bush was successful with his election bid." She only recanted on her relocation plans because of a conversation with her mother who pleaded with her to "stop and think about all the poor people in this country who unlike her, would not have the financial means to flee from a Bush administration."

Cher went on to state that all the people should read the Molly Ivens book Shrub, before voting. She proceeded to accuse Bush of starving poor people to death in Texas and went on to say he was reportedly told of the starving children, that Bush said there were soup kitchens within two blocks of his office.

Cher cried out "where are my Gay Friends why are they sitting their hands ?" "Bush will appoint Supreme Court Justices just like Clarence Thomas, that will make homosexuality illegal again." Cher then launched into a supposed secret cabal between Falwell and Bush to remove Roe Vs Wade from the books and that when Bush and Falwell were finished the only people that would have any rights would be "the White Christian Right." Cher then went on to paint a picture of an America that would be dominated by the same people that Bush allowed to pollute Houston Texas. Reagon Airport would be swamped with "Fatcats in lizard skin cowboy boots traveling in Lear Jets and having special access to Bush." She did state that she felt that this was "not all really Shrub's doing." "He was after all a party boy who became a puppet for his daddy, daddy said run for President and shrub jumped to do his daddy's bidding."

Cher covered the the litany of fears, worries and concerns, and given the massive job support that she is being called to for the sake of Americas poor, seemed a little less hysterical at the end of the 15 -20 minute conversation. Professing their love, caring, support and mutual respect for one another upon entering into this dark age of america, Michael extracted a final promise to, "do this again, only face to face." allowed Cher to slip off presumably, to resume her lonely and frightening battle against the Evil Shrub.

This is just a taste of what we have to look forward to on election day from all the media clymers.

Ain't it sweet ?

I voted for Bush a week ago Friday. And, I converted someone who'd voted for Clinton twice to vote for Bush, after we'd discussed gun control and character issues (i.e. Gore is a traitor and Bush is not). She used these arguments with her mother, who'd also voted for Clinton. Now, mom is voting for Bush as well!

Yes, two more souls saved from eternal damnation.

My wife and I voted for Bush by absentee... TWICE (for two different states). Both are "swing" states...

heh heh heh!!!!

Feel the burn baby!!!

Voted straight Lib and penned in bush. Today.

Thanks Satanta. I'm voting Bush and GOP for US rep and state house and state sen since they go to our FONRA dinners. It is Lib in my US Sen race and probably more.

Thanks for seeing Bush as what we now if not what we really need.
