I'm gonna be up in the high lonesome during the election so I went into town today and voted absentee. This is the 3rd time I've voted for George Bush for president. In '88, '92, and now in '00. The Bush's are batting .500 in presidential races, I'm hoping we can improve on their average this year.

Kinda wanted to remind any of you guys that are gonna be up hunting or out of town for other reasons to get your tail in and vote absentee now. Our state deadline is nearing, your's probably is too.

I voted for Bush also. Twice. In THIS election. Absentee. From TWO states. Wife did the same. One state is a "swing", and the other was perviously Dem, but is now "too close to call".

Here's hoping.....

I have always been a hardcore Damocrat. However, I will be voting for George Bush on November 7th.

Come to think about it, I'm betting I'll be voting for George Bush a 4th time in '04.

Dennis, how did you manage that?

My vote for Bush will be my first vote for the "First Man". I am just the right age that I can say " You can't blame me for Clinton". By the way, I can't wait for election day!

Add my name to the list. I vote absentee for George Bush last Friday. That makes it four times I've voted for a George Bush. This year, in '92, '88, and in '80 during the IOWA "first in the nation" Caucus. I was 17 (you can vote in the Caucus at 17 as long as your 18 when the national election rolls around), it was the first time I ever voted and if memory serves me right Bush won (the Caucus). Sorry Ronnie, I learned to love ya latter and you got my vote in the Fall. -- Kernel

Heh.

Bush for prez.. and a combination of Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians down the rest of the ballot. I don't stick with parties as much as I stick with the people that actually get the work done. I must say that in my hometown the incumbent Democrats still get the job done. Ain't no need to get rid of them (yet). :D

Thanks guys. I had a rough night because just before I went to bed I thought I had read a report that Bush was losing. I couldn't sleep all night. We are too close to losing the Bill of Rights that it's frightening. I feel like every military person who died for our country is looking at us. I know it sounds pretty weird but I've been told that this is the most important election in the last hundred years. Bush for 8 years. Emerson won and then Cheney for 8 years and we can start honoring all of the rights. Thanks.

Gonna be out of the country during election, so just finished punching the absentee ballot card here in Nevada. All pubbies, although the State Assemblyman (woman) never answered my email. This is one time I want NO Democrat in office.

Some of the judical positions had only one guy running, so I didn't vote for him - that ain't a contest. Cranky, maybe, I guess I just need another cuppa.

Bush and Grams for Prez/Senate, Libertarians for lower offices. Libertarian split on the national level (Browne vs. Schuprinowitz) just made them less viable than I can tolerate...and, thanks to Chaney, Bush looks pretty good.

My wife and I cast our ballots over the weekend in early voting. Two votes for George W.! We also voted for him both times he ran for governor of Texas, and, as gunowners, we've never regretted our choice. The longer he's served, the greater has been our respect for him.

I'm voting for Bush and straight Republican (only pro-gun Republican, that is) tomorow morning at the courthouse. I encourage everyone here to vote early. It can only work to increase the pro-gun turnout. Some of you may not be able to cast your ballots due to last-minute conflicts on Nov 7. This year more than ever, EVERY VOTE FOR BUSH COUNTS!

I'm not going to vote _for_ Bush. I'll be voting against Gore. Bush just happens to be the alternative.

I hate that.
