I just saved $20 off the US Army Target Interdiction Manual

Just ordered the US Army Target Interdiction Manual (as reprinted by Paladin Press) for $33.90. The retail price is $50 but I got it at $20 off. Their regular "special" price is $40, but with an email coupon I got another $10 off. The code is "momdeal" and is good until May 14.

Drop the other shoe (or combat boot) Gary. Now that you have it does it have lots of good information in it? Should I rush out and buy it?

Gary,
There is no such manual listed in DA Pam 25-30. It's possible that this is a Special Text printed by one of the service schools.

I've always been a little leary of some of the titles Paladin and some of the others pass off as actual pubs.

IRRC the actual Army sniper manual is FM 23-10 and available for download unrestricted off the ATDL (Army Training and Doctrinal Library) Website.

There hasn't been a lot of stuff published on sniping officially.

Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, just want everyone to get what they pay for. Most pubs are available from the GPO much cheaper then the reprintsand out and out forgerys sold by some. I've dealt with Paladin Press before and have always been a satisfied customer, but I've always doubted the actual origin of some of their titles.

I'll get some URLs from the armory and post here. The offical publications website has instructions on how civilians can purchase direct from the GPO and the ATDL site has many training and doctrinal pubs available for anyone to download.

Go to http://www.usapa.army.mil
This is the offical website for army publications. On it you can find a list of all current manuals. There is also a page that gives the procedures for civilians to purchase Army publications direct from the government.
