Hi guys,
I started a new job about 4 months ago (in Canberra, Australia), so most of my workmates don't know about my love of hunting and shooting, including the subject of this post.
Anyway, I quickly found out that one of the women I work with is very anti-gun, I generaly don't have much to do with her but today about six of us were having coffe when this person started a tirade about the NRA.
While she did'nt start foaming at the mouth, I was a bit worried about the possibilty of rabies After about 4-5 minutes
of this she finnished with the statement:
"I'm glad I don't live in America, I could never work with a member of the NRA"
At this point I slid my NRA membership card (which had arrived about a day before) across the table. After a few seconds of stunned silence I offered to go up to HR and get her some resignation forms.
I wish I had had a camera with me to capture the look on her face.
