Just picked up a S&W 340PD...Carrying it in my right jeans pocket with a clipdraw, I can't believe how I lived with a holstered autoloader all these years! So I got rid of 'em all...S&W ASP, HK P7M13, Para P12, Glocks, Sig, Kahr, even the tiny Seecamp!! Just the snubby and $$$ for ammo & speedloaders! Oh, and the Ashley Bigdot tritium front sight I just ordered. 
Yes, recoil is harsh but not as bad on your hand as that POS COP, Inc. derringer :barf: that I once had (when it did decide to fire sometime that year
), and the two thin strips of wood they jokingly called "grips". Or the .357 Downsizer I gave to my brother (most I shot in a row through that BEAST was 5).
