I have a Stupid Nagant question. How the heck do I get the bolt out of this gun?

I can't figure out how to remove the bolt from this rifle. Probably a very stupid question, but I've never had any experience with a Nagant before.

I saw a goregous M44 the other day and I just couldn't resist. The metal is in great shape, and the bore looks good. I'm hoping to get the chance to take it out and do some shooting this weekend.

The bolt stop is part of the trigger mechanism. Pull the trigger back and slide the bolt out.

Correia, I hope you love your new carbine. Be sure to take the bolt down and clean it thoroughly (after a couple of times you'll be able to do it blindfolded - big clunky idiot-proof engineering) with an ammonia-based cleaner after shooting corrosive ammo so you keep that metal in great shape.

You'll probably want to invest in a rubber buttpad after the firt few outings. Certainly shoot it naked to get the full benefit, though.
