I got a new FNS 9 compact in on a trade recently. I did a little research before closing the deal, and read some good reviews. After doing some more research I found that some folks experienced accidental discharges with the full size FNS and also had issues with metal shavings in the striker channel. My FNS compact is an earlier version, the envelope the test cartridge came in says March 2015 I think. Has anyone on here experienced quality issues with their FNS Compact?
 
You know the problems to look for, so shoot it and if those problems develop then you know it needs to go back to FN. If we only bought pistols with no reported issues online then we wouldn't have any pistols to buy. Remember that people are far more inclined to go online to report a problem than to go online and report no problems.
