I finally got it

I saved my eggs and finally got my 26" Benelli M1 Field. I picked it up yesterday and already have been to to the range twice. I patterened my chokes (shooting Winchester AA) at 16 yards today and my full and improved modified chokes gave me the tightest patterns. Would these be the best choices for trap shooting then?

My Trap Grade 1100 came with a barrel choked full. With it I ran 100. Alot of people I know shoot Modified choke. However, I am not a trap expert, so lets hear what some of the others think....

Certainly not a trap expert, just a longtime shotgunner recently bitten by the trap bug.

Full is a bit too much choke for 16 yard singles, but I use one anyway. By going to that tight pattern, I'm learning to hold closer.

One local legend I shoot with uses a full tube for practice, and goes with a IM or so for competition. IMO, that's worth trying.
