Even though it's my wife.
Just bought her her first gun, a Remington 597 from Dick's. It was on sale, plus had a mail-in rebate, came with a scope, and the price was right.
She's been saying she wanted her own gun (she's been using my .22), and with her birthday a couple weeks away, and Dick's having the sale, we pulled the trigger, no pun intended.
I'm so proud. When we started dating, she wanted nothing to do with guns. Now she owns her own.
