I did something dumb

I just bought an rg23 .22lr pistol in an auction and I did something dumb. I took it apart more than I should have to clean it and now I can't get it back together properly. I have been looking all over for an exploded view or somekind of instructions with no luck. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you for your time.

You are not the first one to do that. Years ago I did it to a Mk. II and ended up taking it in a bag to the gunshop for instuctions in re-assembly. You should'nt need a gunsmith for it, just a gun person. I could'nt tell you how, I just hold it upside down and hook it and hold my jaw right and cuss a bit.

seb5 is correct

It is almost impossible to describe and once some one shows you its easy.
Get the manual and follow word for word.
The first time I took a mark II apart years ago it took hours to get it back again so dont feel stupid.

Perhaps I don't have the right attitude tonight, but IMHO if your RG is apart, you may be better off leaving it that way. Those guns ranged from barely usable to downright unsafe.

RG.............ohoh. If it's an RG and not the Ruger disregard my post. If in fact it's an RG, I agree with leaving it that way. :D I should'nt try to read between what I thought were typos.
