What should I do if I accidently drop my Beretta 92FS in water (river, lake or sea)? It is not my Glock 17 so I don`t know how to completely disassemble it. Will it rust?

After field-stripping, rinse it out thoroughly under hot running water from the kitchen sink. A can of compressed air to blow out the water would be great, if you have it; otherwise, towel dry it and expose it to a portable fan for a while. Then, relube where necessary.

Irfan, I don't think it would if you dried it,stripped it down, and cleaned and oiled it really well. The sprays such as CLP,Gun Scrubber and Break Free should do the job and leave oil in those hard to get spots.
This is what I would do. :)

More concerned about salt water than fresh. Unload. Field strip. Reomove the grip panels. Submerse in bowl of hat water. Submerse in bowl of wood alcohol, NOT rubbing alcohol. Alcohol is hydroscopic meaning that it absorbs water. Blow dry with compressed air or a hair dryer on the low heat setting. Relubricate the pistol because the wood alcohol will completely degrease the gun as well as absorb the water.
