I contributed to Buy a Gun Day

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, my lady informs me Claire Wolfe's blog says it's Buy a Gun Day,
and she wants to go to Gander Mt to possibly buy one. I go along, not planning on getting anything.
Well, I run into a S&W 686-1 for $260. A 2.5 inch 686 with no internal lock? I can't pass that up, so now I have another toy! Pictures posted in order of descriptions:

686-1.

The rest of the collection, Ruger Blackhawk, GP100, SP101, S&W 19-3, and the 686 minus my S&W 65-2 4 inch, which is in the shop.

Finally, the 19-3 and 686-1.

Nice Wheelguns :). That's one thing about old S&W's, they had/have awesome deep blueing.

I didn't get anything :o . I'm in the process of beginning the steps for a change of life beginning next year (and buying a motorcycle) so all my money is going to pay off credit cards and get out of debt :( (damn this personal responsibility, just go bankrupt like everyone else stupid  ).

But, I think that I did the gun owners proud last year and the beginning of this year, one high priced Rifle and a "you know what" load of C&R's and lower priced (but not lower quality) guns so I should be good for awhile :D.

3" S&W 625 on lay-a-way

hope to pay it off next week.

I agree with the gun-grabbers when they say "a gun a month", and I've tried to keep my part. Browning BPS last month, 625 this month, Savage 16FLSS in .308 next month......
I really don't feel that it's too much to ask of me. ;)

Well, I'm deep in debt too, and losing my job in a few months. However, I'm selling one of my old guns I never use to my girlfriend, so I'm only going to end up paying about $120 for the 686.
And the Feds soon are going to make it almost impossible for folks to declare bankruptcy, so the credit card company may have to be content to just get around $40 a month from me once the job is gone.

Picked up a S&W Thunder Ranch Special Friday. Shoot Straight had two to choose from! Traded in a Kahr PM9 - one less bottom feeder in the safe now!
