After going one year under a self-imposed gun buying ban, I cracked today and bought something I'd wanted for a long time. I wanted a shiny 8 & 3/8 M27 for like 12 years but gave up and bought a blued one. I guess I can sell it now.

I'm always imposing gun buying bans. They last 3 or 4 months if I really put my mind to it!

Nice looking N-frame Saxon!

I was in a similar situation about 8 months ago - my gun budget was blown, & then I came across a 4" M57 that I just had to have (I had wanted one for years)!

Any idea what vintage your gun is?
 
Beautifull 27's. I have no willpower. 5 gunshows in 6 weeks, I'm broke as broke can be. Today I brought my least favorite Colt 1911 in to my favorite shop to put on consignment, to try and recover some cash. Gun is on consignment and while I was there I bought an almost new 6'' 586. God,,, I'm weak.

I'm perusing a book called "101 ways to cook Alpo" My dogs guard their dishes, and have hidden the rawhides. I'm weak from hunger, but I have my guns.
 
That one looks to have a target or patridge front sight. Most of um come with a red ramp, don't they?
