I can see it coming...

I was watching Hunt for Red October a while ago, and it made me think a bit...with the way things are going, folks like us, who have a legitimate interest in firearms for a number of legal purposes are going to become known as subversives. I can picture everyone having to check in with the local political officer, who in turn, reports to the socialist scum. We'll have narcs who'll turn people in for a better standing with the party. Hell, the govmt. will probably be offing people in the prisons with Markorovs.
Any one agree with the way things are headed.
This whole world government thing reeks of population control and abuse. How cold did you say Alaska was??????

antenna you may have just commited a thought crime. Whether they say it or not I think most on this forum have a good notion where we are headed. It aint gonna be fun but who said the price of liberty was cheap.

"The people about us are unaware of what is really happening to them; They gaze fascinated at one or two familiar superficialities, suxh as possession, income rank and other outworn conceptions. As long as these are kept intact, they are quite satisfied. But in the meantime they have entered a new relation: a powerful social force has caught them up. They themselves are changed. What are ownershipa and income to that? Why need we trouble to socialize banks and factories? WE SOCIALIZE HUMAN BEINGS." A Hitler, to Hermann Reichmann in the30's

I agree. Things are going to get worse before they get better. If I don't see some type of federal gun grab before the end of my life, no one will be more surprised than me. I doubt that it will be an outright confiscation, there'll be too much of an outcry for that. No, they will slowly, as they are doing now, strangle gun makers and owners out of existence with one right-trampling law and idiotic lawsuit after another.

P.S. Didn't "The Hunt for the Red October" have Alec Baldwin in it? I could be wrong about that; anyway, he is very anti-gun and a screaming socialist. I refuse to give my money to anyone who is against my right to have firearms. They can believe what they want, but I ain't financing 'em with my dollars.

Reading "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal," by Ayn Rand, should be required of every politician and in every high school.

Well if its gonna come down, let it come down sooner than later! Let the arrogant globalists see how failed their plan is. The monster has yet to awaken. And that monster is the apathetic American populace, who keep their perverbial traps shut, don't vote, and otherwise ignore the corruption in Washington D.C. Let the globalists realize the miscalculation they've made.

Patriotism is not dead. Go ahead, press the American people into a corner, and see just how your silly polls stand up to reality.

Anyone wanna bet against the resolve of Americans' love for their freedom?
