I was at the Puyallup gun show a week ago and bought a 25-20 Win 92 rifle made in 1910 from an old guy in a cowboy hat.
Now at 102, he tells me he owned the Winchester a long time, but it is time to start reducing his inventory, because of his age. He was joking around with me and seemed to be filled with spirit. I left the rifle on his table while I looked at the rest of the show. He wrote "Sold" on it, and you can see how his hands shake in his handwriting.
I have spoken to him in the past, and he is still ****** off about the gun control act of 1968. He said he has never filled out form 4473.
I remember ~ 10 years ago when he was in his 90's he showed me pictures of how that year he shot a bull elk with a 458 Win. At that time he told me he was several inches shorter than when he was young. I was amazed at that time with the elk. Now he is 102, I amazed that he can show up and joke around.
