Sounds like a neat idea for a bumper sticker, based on the old "I am the NRA, and I vote" theme.
I thought of this as I was emailing Toys R' Us to inform them of my participation in the boycott against them.

At first, I thought this thread was going to be able the NRA spending OUR membership money freely. I just got three more letters requesting money. geesh

Anyway, the bumper sticker sounds great!

I'm the NRA too. Or at least I think I am. I might be. But then maybe I'm not! How in the hell would I ever know. Joined life in Feb & no member # or card! Getting tired of calling & emailing them.

Must be too busy spending my $. No problem taking it on my AmEx.

I joined GOA as life last month after I got feed up with NRA dicking me around. Too bad they have potential to be so much more!
 
Don't worry, they will still dick you around when you are an Endowment Member! I'm still a member though. Strenght in numbers is a good thing, just look at all of the beauracracy around you, it works.

You could do what the gay folks did - get a self-inking stamp made up that says "Gun Owner Money" and stamp it on all your currency. That'll remind every merchant you do business with where his/her income is coming from.

I e-mailed Toys were Us . I got an e-mail right back thanking me for my interest in them . Well I must have really scared someone since I got another one saying they would direct my e-mail to the right person . ( Another form letter ) . I think this will take a few days to build up enough steam to get noticed . The media will then notice what's going on . I wonder if we will be " Crazed gun nuts threatening " or Militia types looking for trouble . " You know they can't cave in . They would look like S&W .
