My girlfriend and I have been seperated for financial reasons for a while. She flew in to be with me this past weekend and we stayed in a motel in Albuquerque. She told me she wants a pistol when she moves back. I happened to be zipping the case closed on my 45 at the time and she said she wants one like that. Now, she has never seen my 45 before. I tried to tell her it might be heavy for her until it came out that she thought it was my stainless MKII. I tried to explain that it was different but to no avail. So in future years, it looks like as long as no two handguns are seen at the same time, I can get a whole lot more than I planned. :-) Plus on top of it all, seeing her interest in defense, I should be able to get away with getting a couple of matching 22/45's soon. :-)
 
Congradulations PF. It sounds like you have a great "catch" there. Here's to hoping your finacial situation improves soon so you may spend more time together and buy all your guns in pairs. :)

Sounds like my kind of girl. A few months ago my wife and I bought a pair of 22/45s with consecutive serial numbers. She loves hers and really goes through the 22 ammo. She also has a SW 3913 LS that she carries. I have trouble reloading enough for her to shoot let alnoe for both of us. It is a nice problem to have.
