I am in need of quotes from: <UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>Diane Feinstein<LI>Bill Clinton<LI>Barbara Boxer<LI>Charles Schumer<LI>Janet Reno<LI>Al Gore</UL>
outlining their agenda to gut the 2nd Amendment.

I've used the search option here and found a few, but I need clear quotes from these people.

Thanks!

Can't be positive of the source--might have been GOA, the 2nd Amendment Foundation. or ???, but Little Chuckie has said, "(we) will all be better off once firearms are out of the public's hands..." Try a search of pro 2A websites!

"The most effective means of fighting crime in the United States is to outlaw the possession of any type of firearm by the civilian populace."

Sarah Brady

"Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us are totally disarmed."

Be careful. I'm pretty sure that <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>"Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us are totally disarmed."
and <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>"The most effective means of fighting crime in the United States is to outlaw the possession of any type of firearm by the civilian populace."
are false. Check http://www.guncite.com/gcbogus.html for details.

Accuracy is important.

"When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans ..."
Bill Clinton, 1994

A data base of aprox. 400 quotes exists on "standandfight.com". There are quotes on that site from most of the folks you are looking for.

A lot of the Gore quotes are misquotes or outright fabrications and some of them were
attributed to Dan Quale all those years ago
and were no more true even then.

I don't much care for Comrade Gore, but
misquoting doesn't help.

Now, I know that this is not intentional, but
be extremely leery of ANY quote you find on the internet without attribution. It happens way too often.

"When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans ..." "And so a lot of people say there's too much personal freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it. That's what we did in the announcement I made last weekend on the public housing projects, about how we're going to have weapon sweeps and more things like that to try to make people safer in their communities." President Bill Clinton, 3-22-94, MTV's "Enough is Enough"

You have to realize that these people are essentially cowards. They are afraid to articulate their true feelings about liberty and the 2nd Amend. in public because they know what a firestorm it would raise. The only place they talk about their "grand vision" for America is probably with like-minded friends and political co-horts. If we could get a hidden microphone into some of those conversations, I think even WE would be shocked. The proper way to demonstrate their goals with regard to personal ownership of firearms, or any other subject for that metter, is to look at what their EFFORTS have been directed towards (in other words, what they do, not what they say). Universal govt.-controlled health care, mandated extended family leave paid for by companies, and attacks on the 2nd are all transparent steps to lead us to socialism. If people are not open-minded enough to realize this, no amount of spin is going to convince them otherwise.
