I was in the local gun shop yesterday, looking for a Springfield Loaded .45, when I stumbled across a .40 SIG. Now I've read a great deal about SIG handguns and the .40 S&W cartridge, and I was fairly impressed with both. But after I handled (fondled?) that SIG, it made me want to cheat on my other handguns. I'm married to single action, semi-automatic handguns, but I want to date a double action on the side. I'm no big fan of other DA handguns, but the SIG, well, it just seems like a contemporary classic. Function is more important than form, but dang, the SIGs are nice pieces. It felt SOOOO good in my hands. I want a new 1911 .45, but I'm lusting after this SIG. It that sick, twisted, and wrong to go from a single action to a double action pistol?
