To all TFL's; If I upset or offended anyone with my comments I sincerely apologize to all. It started out in jest but didn't end up that way. Maybe I should stick to technical gun stuff. To LASur5r; Thanks for your last post and thanks for the E-mail. I appreciated it. Peace brother, J. Parker

No prob J. Parker.

I think you were just the whipping boy for some people with pent up frustrations at other people (off the forum) that ask us to constantly justify our actions when it comes to guns specifically.
It seems to me that you "apologized" and cleared up your stance many times, but some people were still responding to the original post and may have not read your later posts.

For J. Parker,

Please understand that what follows is simply one individual's opinion.

The "hysteria" threads (weren't there eventually three of them) were an excellent way to elicit our views on an important, firearms-relevant subject. I believe I replied to the first thread -- and I did not entirely support your initial position. However, I feel you were always civil and respectful of all our TFL members, which is important and which we all should strive to ensure. IMHO, no apology of any sort is necessary for "our group".

I didn't see any problem with the original thread. I thought it was a valid question from a different perspective. I didn't see anyone get overly heated or upset and there were good points on both sides.
