Husqvarna Mod 20 Double Barrel - Help!

Hey guys!

I just bought a vintage Husqvarna (Swedish) Model 20B double barrel shotgun (Don't have it yet, waiting for it to get shipped) but I'm unsure about the exact chamber length. Its a 12 gauge, a lot of people say its a 2 1/2 chamber but I've also heard that guns with the serial number 165000 and up have 2 3/4 chambers.
Mine is a #180000 (1945).

I do reload shotshells but it would be awesome if I did not have to cut my 2 3/4 shells down to 2 1/2 and could resort to commercial 2 3/4 shells should the need arise.

Are there any Husqvarna experts out there?

When it gets there the chamber length should be clearly marked in millimeters.
You can make a chamber gauge out of an old credit card in 5 minutes anyway.

Husqvarna shotguns only have a 12 gauge marking, but not chamber length; hence my question.

If the forcing cone is long I might not be able to find out the exact chamber length with a homemade measuring device.

You do not have to cut any shells down; you can buy ready-made 2-1/2" shells, shoot them up, readjust your pre and final crimp for shorter shells and reload away.
