Is this a good buy for $350? Usual blueing wear, but stock is good, no cracks.

Good deal. Husqvarna M98s are some of the best (they are not FN btw). They typically do not draw as much $$ as an FN or Mauser 98, but they are every bit as good.

This mauser was built by Husqvarna using FN 98 actions. They were doing this early on before they started to build their own receivers. So that's why I think it's a good deal: German engineering, Belgian FN action, Swedish Barrel.

Get it

Swedish steel, Belgian model 98 action, and the same brand as my weed eater. What is not to love! It should be a fine rifle that will out live most of us.

I think that is a good price for an early Model FN action alone. The early FN actions had more Mauser 98 features than later FN actions. The action was cheapened as time when on, very few of Paul Mauser's features were left by the time you get into the 70's.
