hunting with an NFA weapon.

Have you ever seen Lauer's "pocket rifle"? It is a cut down, (5" bbl) suppressed rifle with a folding stock and pistol grip. Sounds to me like a squirrel gun. Quiet, small, and deadly!

Anyway, I am in Florida and wonder if it would be legal to hunt with it? Anyone know?

hmm.....
I don't think they would go for:

"Sorry Mr. FWC Guy. It's not a silencer it's a suppressor........"

It would still be perfect for squirrels though.

First, so everyone knows what you're talking about pocket rifle
I think such a weapon would be ideal for when the squirrils get fed up with being hunted, gather armies of fellow disgruntled squirrils and launch an attack.
But for now I'll stick to my Marlin and Winchester Model 12. They are tasty little critters, aren't they? :D

In Texas you can hunt any NON GAME ANIMAL with any legal means possible. You can hunt hogs with a full auto if you want. and legally own a full auto. All the rules change when you hunt game animals and hunt on state land. Read your state laws and keep an eye out for the words non game animal and game animal.
