Good looking Lab........the hungry sad eyes are a nice touch. I have a Food Saver and live in Michigan so I'm no help. Good luck.

I'm in Arizona, and use a foodsaver as well.

and have 5 dogs of my own, and a henhouse full of chickens for any veggies that get old. Not much goes to waste around here.

Heck, the chickens even eat the weeds I pull.

Good luck though; I truly hope you can fill your needs.

I wished I lived close to ya! I have about 30 or 40 lbs of breakfast sausage that the local processer screwed me on last year. They evidently MIX everyone's meat together and my meat tasted like GUTS! I'm so dang ******!!!

If you wanna pay shipping I have a styrofoam cooler, it's frozen, and will make it to ya. When I get back state side around the 20th I'll ship it to ya. I have oysters shipped to me in Texas out of Washington all the time, it'll be fine.

Had a similar experience in Montana with a Elk and a deer I got about 100lbs of meat when I picked it up should have closer to 200lbs.
Have never used a "processor" since I do my own.

Yeah I'm gunna have to start. The only reason I even used them yo yos was because my guy passed away in June of '09... I canned 2 casses last year but my breaky sausage was getting low....

Really Pattydon, let me know. I'
m still at werk in OZ but I'll be home around the 20th or so. I ain't got no problem shipping it to ya. Fed Ex ain't that bad.

I gotta ask..what is the reason behind this? Not being judgemental,,just curious.

Not sure of the OP, but i have some friends that ONLY feed their dog (highly trained pure bred-not that it matters) RAW chicken and uncooked eggs, daily, since he was only a few months. Most impeccable coat youve ever seen.

I believe raw meat contains certain elements (vitamins and such) that are lost when cooked. Those elements are supposed to improve skin and coat nutrition, IIRC

Raw venison and antelope likely contain tapeworm, definitely antelope. Vet recommends boiling the meat. That's what I do. Dogs don't need tapeworms...
