hunter stove advice

hey guys, I found my old hunter stove. It looks dirty because of scratches. I want to repaint it.
Has somebody similar experience? What paint to take?

It's been many a year, but back in my sports car racing daze we used a high-temperature spray paint on exhaust systems. Available in white or black, as I recall. It lasted fairly well.

Steel or AL? Engine paint on steel. BBQ paint on Al. Either from Home Depot.

Steel wool the scratched surface first to knock the burrs down, then paint, and enjoy.
