Im new but from what I have seen TFL ROCKS, a flood of interesting and thought provoking ideas which is unavailalbe at my current locale.
Any way I am 24 years old and I have noticed a trend among younger gun owners towards being more progun then the older more traditional hunter(i.e.Bolt action rifles and sporting shotguns only) types who are the vast majority where I live.Younger gun owners I know seem to take tha attitude "why shouldn't I be able to own a semiautomatic rifle its only as dangerous as the shooter.
With gun ownership a highly charged debate especially in western democracies and its resulting politicalisation/demonisation of gunowners is it changing the attitudes of the next generation of shooters?
I am a New Zealander and wonder if attitudes in other nations among younger gunowners are also changing towards being more pro RKBA.
Kinda like the old line "you don't what you got until you lose it".
This is in no way a flame against hunters/older gunowners.
