Saw these at SOG and was wondering what the quality was.I am a 1911 fan and would like to get a hi-power.This one caught my eye because it's chambered in .45cal.I thought all hi-powers were chambered in 9mm and .40cal so I was wondering if this is a true hi-power and if I did buy it would parts be easy or hard to find for it?Any help would be appreciated.

The FEG pistol in .45 isn't anything like a Hi-Power.

The only gun that is similar to the Browning Hi-Power is the FEG PJK-9HP and even then only the older ones are clones. The newer ones of that model have a three lug lock-up and some other changes that make some parts incompatible.

I imagine your only source of parts for this gun would be FEG or KBI.

The .45ACP FEG I shot was pretty accurate for a cheap pistol, but after 50-100 rounds the front sight went airborne and the locking lugs on the barrel showed some damage.
